The Sheba Hope Grows^TM Program Expands to Hawaii in partnership with Kuleana Coral Reefs

Coral reefs play a vital part in the ocean ecosystem, and they are under threat. Without coral, there’s no fish. That’s why the SHEBA^® brand has long been committed to supporting the restoration of coral reefs through the Sheba Hope Grows^™(open in new tab) program.

In 2021 we announced our work with Hope Reef, which was the start of a global movement to restore coral reefs around the world. Since work began at Hope Reef, coral growth has increased from 2% to 70%, fish populations have increased by 260% and there’s been a 64% rise in the number of fish species.

Now, we’re bringing these efforts closer to home by partnering with Kuleana Coral Reefs(open in new tab), an ocean protection organization in Hawaii run by a diverse team of locals: divers, fishermen and scientists.
